I Received a Copy of My University Degree

First, I received a copy of my university degree. So, those of you who have lost your degree, have hope that you may be able to get another one. I received an official copy of the degree. Although I have not opened the package yet, I am sure that it looks like my original. If you need a copy of your degree (not a photocopy, but an authentic copy) call the registrar’s office at your school. My copy cost $10 and it took at least two months to receive.

Background Story on Receiving Copy of Degree

You know that I have a story to tell about getting the copy of my degree! Well, here it is. I was shady and super-tired, so when I heard the knock on my door, I didn’t answer. Something in the back of my mind told me that it may be important, but I didn’t care. That sleep was feeling good, and I had to get up to go to the hair salon later, anyway. I was trying to get all the sleep that I could get. Curiosity got a hold of me, and I went to check to see what was up 30 minutes later. Someone left mail on my doorstep! My university degree was in a large envelope, along with some random junk mail. Dang! I wonder if a neighbor brought it by. I feel guilty now, because I would have liked to have thanked the person. I do kind of wish that they didn’t just leave it on the doorstep when I didn’t answer though. Do you all think that’s kind of foul? If it was the mail carrier who left my mail on the doorstep, that would not be okay in the U.S.! So, I do have a copy of my undergraduate degree in case it is needed when I go and complete my paperwork for my visa.
